What is The Gingerbread Man about?
A little old woman bakes a gingerbread man, but before anyone can take a bite, he jumps from the oven and dashes away. ‘Run, run, as fast as you can!’ he boasts as he races past the old woman, a cow, a pig and other hungry chasers. The gingerbread man believes nobody can catch him, until he meets a clever fox by the river. Told with lively rhythm and rhyme, this retelling follows his fast and funny escape.
