What is Jack and the beanstalk about?
Jack and his mother are very poor, so she sends him to sell their old cow. On the way, Jack swaps the cow for a handful of magic beans. His mother is furious, but overnight a towering beanstalk grows into the sky. Jack climbs it and discovers a giant’s castle filled with treasure. He must be brave and clever as he sneaks past the giant, finds a special hen and harp, and races home before danger catches him.
