Colin, a tiny mouse, is swaddled in cotton wool by his overprotective mother to keep him safe. However, this fluffy shield attracts unwanted attention from various creatures, leading to a series of misadventures. After a day of being flung, pecked, and chased, Colin sheds his cotton wool, feeling much bigger and ready to tell his mother he can look after himself.
