A child sets out to buy everyday items—a carrot, a hat, a coat—but each trip results in unexpected animal surprises: a parrot, a cat, a goat! With each mix-up, the refrain 'Oh dear, look what I got! Michael Rosen is a much-loved British author and poet. He is famous for writing funny and imaginative books for children, including the classic story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. Michael enjoys performing his poems and stories, and he loves to make children laugh and think with his playful use of words.
