What do our readers think of Mr. Silly? (Generated from the text of reviews of the book)

Children enjoy the bright pictures, funny noises and wonderfully muddled world, and many like imagining their own silly ideas. Some younger children find parts of the story or pictures a little confusing, but the playful humour keeps it fun to share.

What does the Pageticker team say about Mr. Silly?

Mr Silly is Roger Hargreaves at his most gloriously nonsensical, with blue grass, red leaves and animals making all the wrong noises. As the tenth Mr Men book, it delivers the series’ familiar mix of bold illustrations, simple storytelling and delightfully daft humour, while inviting children to imagine what might happen when ordinary rules are turned upside down. Some of the jokes will land best when shared aloud, making this a particularly good choice for playful story time.

What is Mr. Silly about?

In Nonsenseland, where the grass is blue and the trees have red leaves, Mr Silly embarks on a quest to win the Nonsense Cup for the silliest idea. Along the way, he encounters animals that behave in the most unexpected ways, adding to the land's delightful absurdity. Mr Silly's adventure is a whimsical journey through a world where nothing is as it seems, and silliness reigns supreme.
