Flik, an inventive ant, often finds his creations causing trouble. When the colony's harvest is destroyed, he embarks on a quest to find warrior bugs to defend against the menacing grasshoppers. Unbeknownst to him, the recruits are actually circus performers. As the grasshoppers return, Flik and his friends must devise a clever plan to protect their home.
