Synopsis
On their way home from school, Edie and her friend Layla find a tiny, injured ginger kitten caught in barbed wire. Concerned for its survival, they rush it to Edie's mum, a vet. The kitten, named Barbie, is weak and too young to be separated from her mother, requiring constant care. Determined, Edie nurses Barbie back to health and sets out to find the rest of the litter and their mother, fearing they might also be in danger.
