Lola and Lotta are inseparable best friends who do everything together, from playing in the sandpit to sharing lunches. When a new girl, Evie, joins their class, Lotta starts spending all her time with Evie, leaving Lola feeling left out and worried about their friendship. Lola wonders if Lotta is still her best friend and tries to find a way to reconnect with her.
