What does the Pageticker team say about Winnie and Wilbur The Naughty Knight?

Winnie and Wilbur The Naughty Knight is a lively, gloriously silly addition to Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul’s long-running series. Medieval castles, cat-sized armour and a boastful knight give this adventure plenty of comic energy, while the story gently champions fairness and standing up to bullies. The detailed illustrations reward close looking, making this a particularly good choice for shared reading with children aged 3–6.

What is Winnie and Wilbur The Naughty Knight about?

Winnie and her cat Wilbur discover a ruined castle and, with a wave of her wand, travel back to medieval times. They join a day of archery, jousting, and feasting, with Wilbur as a knight and Winnie as a lady-in-waiting. When a naughty knight disrupts the festivities, Winnie uses her magic to restore order. After a swift exit to keep their identities secret, the castle returns to its original state.
