What is Albert and Sarah Jane about?

Albert the dog has a serious weakness: Sarah Jane the cat’s delicious fishy nibbles. Whenever he gets hungry, he sneaks a tasty snack—or two. But one morning, Sarah Jane discovers that her breakfast has completely disappeared. Angry and hurt, she decides she can no longer live with Albert. Can the hungry hound and his feline friend mend their friendship, or will stolen treats keep them apart? A gentle, funny story about temptation, forgiveness and sharing.

About the author

Malachy Doyle is a much-loved author from Northern Ireland who has written many exciting books for children. He is especially known for his beautiful story 'The Snail and the Whale', which he wrote with illustrator Axel Scheffler. Malachy enjoys sharing adventures and heart-warming tales that inspire children to discover the magic of reading.
