What is The Hound of Ulster about?

Young Setanta dreams of joining the Red Branch Knights and proving that he is brave enough to stand among Ulster’s greatest warriors. When he impresses King Conor with his skill at hurling, he is invited to a feast at the home of the smith Culann. But Setanta arrives too late and faces Culann’s fierce guard dog alone. After a dramatic battle, he must find a way to make amends and earn the name that will make him famous: Cúchulainn, the Hound of Ulster.
