Farmer Bramble builds a scarecrow to protect his wheat from hungry crows, but the birds are not frightened at all. Determined to make his invention more terrifying, he adds one surprising feature after another. With help from Mr Rusty, the train driver, the scarecrow soon becomes quite a sight. But will it finally scare away the crows, or will Farmer Bramble’s clever plan have an unexpected result?
