Fern Hollow is preparing for its May Day celebration, and Lord Trundle has bought a splendid set of brass instruments for the village band. But when the instruments arrive, the sneaky weasels Snitch and Snatch decide to steal them. As the animals practise for the big event, mysterious mishaps begin to spoil their plans. Can the villagers discover who is behind the trouble and recover the instruments before the music, dancing and festivities are due to begin?
