What is Demons of the Ocean about?

After their father’s death, twins Connor and Grace Tempest flee to sea rather than face an uncertain future on land. When a violent storm wrecks their boat, they are rescued by two very different ships. Connor is taken aboard a pirate vessel, where he begins learning the ways of the sea. Grace is carried to a mysterious ship ruled by vampirates, who intend to make her their next meal. Separated and desperate to reunite, the twins must uncover the secrets of their strange new worlds.
