When a Corsican freedom fighter is captured by the Romans and taken to Gaul, Asterix and Obelix decide to help him return home. They travel to Corsica, an island of rugged mountains, proud villagers and fierce resistance to Roman rule. Along the way, they face confused legionaries, rival chieftains and plenty of trouble. With their famous magic potion, clever disguises and a little help from their friends, the Gauls join the Corsicans in a hilarious fight for freedom.
