Meg the witch’s old cauldron has stopped working, leaving her unable to make her usual magic. While it is being repaired, Meg, Mog and Owl borrow a shiny modern cauldron that promises to do everything for them. At first, it seems marvellous, but the magic soon becomes muddled and unexpected things begin to happen. Can Meg and her friends get the troublesome cauldron under control before their spell-making goes completely wrong?

Helen Nicoll was a much-loved British author best known for creating the magical 'Winnie and Wilbur' stories, which she wrote with illustrator Jan Pienkowski. Her books are filled with fun, friendship, and lots of exciting adventures, making them favourites for children who enjoy stories about witches, spells, and a bit of mischief!
