Meg the witch attempts to conjure up eggs for supper, but her spell goes awry, producing three enormous eggs. To her astonishment, they hatch into dinosaurs, leading to a series of unexpected and humorous events. Meg must use her magic to manage the prehistoric creatures before they cause too much chaos.

Helen Nicoll was a much-loved British author best known for creating the magical 'Winnie and Wilbur' stories, which she wrote with illustrator Jan Pienkowski.
