What is The sandalwood girl about?
In the attic of the Magician’s House, a girl carved from sandalwood suddenly comes to life when the clock strikes thirteen. She longs to become a real child, so the Magician sends her by owl to the far-off Country of Zorn. There she hopes to find the Iron Boy, who has made the same wish. Together, they must face an uncertain journey towards the Blue Mountains and the magical Silver River, where courage, kindness and determination may change their lives forever.
