Two little aliens spot a playground from their rocket and land on Earth to investigate. They are delighted by the seesaw, sandpit and ice-cream kiosk, but have no idea how any of them work. Their attempts lead to a series of funny misunderstandings until some friendly children show them how to play. As the aliens discover the joys of the playground, they also learn that making friends and helping one another can turn a strange new place into a wonderful adventure.

Sam Lloyd is a brilliant author and illustrator who loves creating funny and colourful books for children. She is best known for her popular picture book 'Calm Down, Boris!', which has made many readers laugh with its friendly orange monster. Sam enjoys making characters come to life and hopes her stories bring lots of smiles to young readers.
