What is Growing good about?
Samuel is used to seeing the old box factory from his flat, but one day it is pulled down, leaving a muddy patch of waste ground behind. With his grandfather’s encouragement, he imagines a greener future. Together, they begin planting, clearing and making gardens. Soon neighbours join in, bringing tools, ideas and memories. As flowers bloom and vegetables grow, the neglected space becomes a lively place for everyone. Samuel discovers that a small act of care can bring a whole community together.
