What is Sleeping Beauty about?

Princess Aurora is born beneath a magical cloud, but her joyful christening is interrupted by the wicked fairy Maleficent, who casts a terrible curse. On her sixteenth birthday, Aurora pricks her finger on a spinning wheel and falls into an enchanted sleep. As the kingdom is covered by thorny vines, Prince Phillip must face Maleficent and find a way to break the spell. With courage, friendship and a little fairy magic, true love may awaken the sleeping princess.
