Synopsis

Every day, Mr Grinling, the lighthouse keeper, enjoys a delicious lunch prepared by his wife, Mrs Grinling. She sends it to him via a special wire from their cottage to the lighthouse. However, a group of greedy seagulls starts stealing his lunch mid-journey. Determined to outsmart the pesky birds, Mrs Grinling devises clever plans to ensure her husband can enjoy his meal in peace. Will her inventive solutions succeed in keeping the seagulls at bay?

Ronda Armitage is a much-loved author from New Zealand who now lives in England. She is best known for writing the delightful Lighthouse Keeper series, including 'The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch'. Ronda enjoys creating stories full of adventure and fun, often inspired by the seaside and her love of the coast.
