Synopsis

In the sweltering heat of summer, the mice of Brambly Hedge find creative ways to stay cool. Poppy Eyebright seeks shade near the mill wheel, while Dusty Dogwood strolls along the stream. As they spend more time together, their friendship blossoms into love, leading to an engagement. They plan a unique wedding ceremony, but unexpected events make their special day even more memorable.

Jill Barklem was a British author and illustrator who created the much-loved Brambly Hedge stories. Her books are filled with beautiful drawings and gentle tales about the adventures of mice living in the English countryside. Children enjoy exploring the detailed worlds she imagined, full of friendship, nature, and cosy homes hidden in the hedgerows.
