Pip is thrilled with his big red balloon, but when it accidentally escapes and bursts, he's heartbroken. Fortunately, his friend Posy comes up with a brilliant plan to lift his spirits, and soon they're back to having fun together!

About the author

Axel Scheffler is a much-loved illustrator, best known for bringing to life the characters in 'The Gruffalo' and many other picture books. He works closely with authors like Julia Donaldson to create colourful and fun illustrations that help stories jump off the page. Axel’s artwork is enjoyed by children all over the world.
