What is Claude in the Country about?

When Mr. and Mrs. Shineyshoes leave for the day, their dog Claude and his sock puppet sidekick, Sir Bobblysock, set off to the countryside. At Woollybottom Farm, they help with chores like gathering eggs, cleaning pigs, and even trying sheep herding. The day takes an exciting turn when a fearsome bull disrupts the County Fair, and Claude must think like a cowboy to save the day!

About the author

Alex T. Smith is a British author and illustrator best known for creating the much-loved 'Claude' series about a beret-wearing dog and his best friend, Sir Bobblysock. Alex’s stories are filled with adventure and fun, and his lively pictures bring his characters to life. He loves drawing and making children laugh with his books.
