Synopsis

One night, Elmer hears Baby Elephant crying because he has lost his teddy. Elmer kindly lends his own teddy for the night and promises to help find the lost one the next day. As they search the jungle, Elmer's cousin Wilbur joins in, playing a playful trick that leads to the discovery of the missing teddy, just in time for Baby Elephant's bedtime.

About the author

David McKee was a brilliant British author and illustrator, best known for creating the colourful Elmer the Patchwork Elephant stories. His books are loved by children all around the world for their fun characters and important messages about being unique and accepting others. David McKee also created Mr Benn, another much-loved character from books and television.
