In early summer at Brambly Hedge, Poppy and Dusty struggle to care for their newborn triplets amidst the noisy, dusty mill. Realising it's unsuitable for raising a family, their friends secretly prepare a new home. On the babies' Naming Day, Poppy is delighted by the surprise, showcasing the community's kindness and teamwork.
About the author
Jill Barklem was a British author and illustrator who created the much-loved Brambly Hedge stories. Her books are filled with beautiful drawings and gentle tales about the adventures of mice living in the English countryside. Children enjoy exploring the detailed worlds she imagined, full of friendship, nature, and cosy homes hidden in the hedgerows.
