Synopsis

During a family picnic in France, Peter Castle becomes engrossed in exploring a cave. Unbeknownst to him, his parents, amidst an argument, abruptly leave, accidentally leaving Peter behind. Alone in the French countryside with no money, food, or knowledge of the language, Peter must rely on his wits and the cave he discovered to survive until he can find a way back home.
