What is The Rainbow Bear about?

A polar bear, captivated by a radiant rainbow, wishes to absorb its vibrant colours. When his dream comes true, he discovers that his dazzling new appearance endangers his survival in the Arctic. With the help of a compassionate boy, he learns the value of his natural self and seeks to return to his original form.

About the author

Michael Morpurgo is a much-loved British author who has written over a hundred books for children. He is best known for his story 'War Horse', which was made into a play and a film. Michael often writes about animals and adventures, inspiring children to imagine exciting worlds and discover the magic of stories.
