What is Wartman about?

Dilly Watson’s life changes when a wart appears on his knee. He names it George, but the other children notice it too, and soon Dilly is being teased as “Wartman”. Embarrassed and miserable, he does not know how to make the bullying stop. Then he meets the mysterious Mr Ben, whose unusual ideas may offer a way forward. With courage, kindness and a touch of magic, Dilly begins to see that being different need not make him powerless.
