What is The Bear's Water Picnic about?

Bear invites his friends for a delightful picnic on his newly built raft. As they enjoy their day on the river, a group of noisy frogs asks to join. Seeking peace, Bear and his friends move away but soon find themselves stranded on a sandbank. With no other option, they must rely on the very frogs they tried to avoid to rescue them.

He often worked with the famous illustrator Quentin Blake, creating stories like 'The Boy Who Sprouted Antlers' and 'The Bear's Winter House'. John's books are known for their humour, quirky characters, and wonderful adventures.
