What is The War Game about?
Flanders, Christmas 1914. Albert is a young British soldier in the trenches when he hears German troops singing carols across no-man’s land. Soon, the enemies are calling greetings, sharing gifts and playing an unexpected football match. For a brief moment, the war disappears and the soldiers see one another as human beings. But the officers are furious, and the fighting soon begins again. Albert never forgets the remarkable truce or the friendship that crossed the battlefield.
