What is Mulberry Alone in the Park about?

When Mulberry the dog spots the front door wide open, he assumes it is time for his walk. He trots off to the park, where he joyfully chases ducks and explores on his own. But as evening falls, the park becomes dark and unfamiliar. Loud bangs and sudden flashes frighten Mulberry, and he begins to wish he were safely at home. Will he find his way back, and will he learn that adventures are not always better alone?
