What is Farewell to the Wood about?
When builders threaten to destroy Farthing Wood, the woodland animals must leave their homes behind. Led by the brave and thoughtful Fox, they set out for the safety of White Deer Park, with Badger and Owl helping to guide the frightened travellers. The journey is long and dangerous, bringing encounters with busy roads, hungry predators and other unexpected dangers. To survive, the animals must stay together, follow the rules and trust one another as they search for a new home.
