What is The Extraordinary Adventures of Mr. Benn about?

Mr Benn lives at 52 Festive Road and seems perfectly ordinary, but his visits to the local fancy-dress shop are anything but usual. Each time he tries on a costume, a secret door leads him into a strange new world. As a knight, spaceman, caveman or performer, Mr Benn finds himself caught up in surprising adventures and learns something along the way. This collection brings together four imaginative stories filled with magic, humour and unexpected discoveries.
