What is Oww! about?

In the quiet of the night, Piggy Piglet wriggles, jiggles and rolls over in his sleep. Suddenly, he cries, “Oww!” Something prickly is stuck to his tail. One by one, the farmyard animals try to help, but Cat, Sheep and Cow only end up hurting themselves too. Just when everyone is puzzled, a hungry Donkey arrives with an unexpected idea. Can he solve Piggy Piglet’s painful problem and discover exactly what is causing all the trouble?

About the author

Michael Rosen is a much-loved British author and poet. He is famous for writing funny and imaginative books for children, including the classic story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. Michael enjoys performing his poems and stories, and he loves to make children laugh and think with his playful use of words.
