What is Portland Bill about?
Portland Bill is the cheerful lighthouse keeper of Guillemot Rock, a small island just off the coast. With his fellow lighthouse men, Ross and Cromarty, he keeps the light shining and helps the people and animals around the nearby village of McGuillycuddy. Each day brings a new problem to solve, from missing supplies and tangled fishing nets to sudden storms and muddled messages. Full of gentle seaside adventures, this story introduces young readers to a friendly community where everyone lends a hand.
