When Mr Majeika and Class Three become stranded in dense fog near Hadrian's Wall, they seek shelter in a nearby hotel. However, the hotel is far from ordinary, with eerie lights, mysterious noises, and guests who seem to vanish without a trace. It's up to Mr Majeika's magical abilities to uncover the truth behind these spooky occurrences.

About the author

Humphrey Carpenter was a British author who loved writing stories for children and grown-ups. He is best known for creating the popular 'Mr Majeika' books, which are all about a magical teacher and his adventures with his class. Humphrey enjoyed making people smile with his imaginative tales and wonderful characters.
