When Mr Jenks retires, St Barty's School hires Hamish Bigmore's ill-tempered Uncle Wilf as the new caretaker. After Mr Majeika is injured in a mysterious accident, the class discovers that Uncle Wilf is secretly aiding the wicked witch Wilhelmina Warlock. It's up to Mr Majeika and his magical abilities to uncover the truth and restore harmony to the school.
