When Mr Majeika mysteriously disappears without a word, Class 3 discovers he's been arrested by the Silly Crime Squad. Determined to rescue their beloved teacher, the students must outsmart the mischievous Hamish Bigmore and the wicked witch Wilhelmina Worlock. Their daring adventure leads to Wilhelmina receiving a fitting punishment: serving time on Earth as a supply teacher!

Humphrey Carpenter was a British author who loved writing stories for children and grown-ups. He is best known for creating the popular 'Mr Majeika' books, which are all about a magical teacher and his adventures with his class. Humphrey enjoyed making people smile with his imaginative tales and wonderful characters.
