At St Barty's Primary School, lunch breaks are a nightmare thanks to Mrs Chipchase, the unpleasant dinner lady. She makes mealtimes miserable for everyone except her favourite, Hamish Bigmore, who gets away with eating chocolate instead of the unappetising school dinners. Determined to improve the situation, the magical Mr Majeika steps in to transform the menu, leading to a series of enchanting and humorous events that bring excitement to the school.
