When a new music teacher arrives at St Barty's School, strange events unfold: mysterious smells waft from the staffroom, and creepy-crawlies appear unexpectedly. The newcomer is Wilhelmina Worlock, a wicked witch with nasty tricks. It's up to Mr Majeika to outwit her and restore order.

About the author

Humphrey Carpenter was a British author who loved writing stories for children and grown-ups. He is best known for creating the popular 'Mr Majeika' books, which are all about a magical teacher and his adventures with his class. Humphrey enjoyed making people smile with his imaginative tales and wonderful characters.
