Synopsis
When a yellow monster arrives on an island seeking refuge, he offers to help the lazy red and blue monsters by clearing their land in exchange for a small plot. The two monsters exploit his offer, making him do all the work. However, the clever yellow monster uses the cleared materials to build his own paradise, teaching a lesson in resourcefulness and fairness.
About the author
David McKee was a brilliant British author and illustrator, best known for creating the colourful Elmer the Patchwork Elephant stories. His books are loved by children all around the world for their fun characters and important messages about being unique and accepting others. David McKee also created Mr Benn, another much-loved character from books and television.
