Synopsis

Borka, a young goose born without feathers, faces challenges as she cannot fly and is left behind when her family migrates for the winter. Alone and cold, she finds refuge on a boat bound for London, where she befriends the crew. Upon arrival, Borka is taken to Kew Gardens, where she finally discovers a place where she belongs and is accepted for who she is.

About the author

John Burningham was a much-loved British author and illustrator of children's books. He is famous for creating wonderful stories filled with imagination and humour.
