What is Mr Gumpy's Motor Car about?
Mr Gumpy sets off for a cheerful drive, but soon his car is packed with children and animals. Everyone enjoys the journey until dark clouds gather and heavy rain turns the track into thick, slippery mud. When the car gets stuck, the passengers must climb out and push. At last, they escape the mud and cross the bridge, with the sun shining again. There is even time for a refreshing swim before they head home.
