Synopsis
Simp, a small and unattractive dog, is abandoned near a rubbish dump. Facing hunger and danger, she embarks on a journey to find a friend. After several challenges, Simp discovers a circus where she befriends a kind clown whose act is failing. Determined to help, Simp becomes the star of the show by performing a daring cannonball stunt, ultimately finding a loving home and proving that everyone has unique talents.
About the author
John Burningham was a much-loved British author and illustrator of children's books. He is famous for creating wonderful stories filled with imagination and humour. One of his most popular books is 'Mr Gumpy's Outing', where children and animals join Mr Gumpy on a fun boat trip. His colourful pictures and playful stories have delighted readers for years.
