What is Ariki and the Giant Shark about?
Ariki has always felt different from the other children on Turtle Island, but she feels completely at home in the sea. When she spots a mysterious creature and a giant shark tooth washes ashore, the islanders become frightened. Soon, sharks are circling the coast and the fishermen refuse to go out, leaving the island without food. Ariki discovers that the sharks may not be dangerous at all.
