Ariki and her friend Ipo set sail near Turtle Island but are caught in a fierce storm that sweeps them far from home. Stranded on a mysterious island teeming with vibrant wildlife, including a giant blue bird with glowing purple eyes, they soon realise the island harbours hidden dangers. Alongside another castaway, they must navigate these perils to protect the island's endangered creatures.
