What is Wombat Goes Walkabout about?

Wombat loves digging, but when he burrows deep into the Australian bush, he loses sight of his mother. As he searches for her, he meets a lively group of animals, including Kookaburra, Wallaby, Possum, Emu and Koala. Each boasts about their special talents, while Wombat’s digging and thoughtful nature seem unimportant. Then a fierce bushfire races towards them. With danger closing in, Wombat must use his own clever skills to help the animals escape and find safety.
