What is Dilly and the School Play about?
Dilly is sure he will be the star of his school play, but he is given only a tiny part as an extra. Disappointed, he surprises Mum and Dad by quietly pouting instead of making a fuss. When they speak to Miss Daffy, she gives Dilly an important job as narrator. But on opening night, the cast and audience are so noisy that nobody can hear him. Dilly soon finds a very loud way to command everyone’s attention and save the show.
